AI, AI, Everywhere: Google’s Research Division Is Now “Google AI”

when it comes to Google, I don’t need to underline the importance of artificial intelligence for the company. Google is known to infuse AI in all its products to make them smarter and more efficient.

To further highlight this importance, the company has gone ahead and rebranded its complete Google Research division as Google AI.

This development took place ahead of the first day of Google I/O 2018 developer conference. In a blog post, the company has called it a unification of all the AI efforts and developments going on across different divisions.

The company has also expanded its Google AI website and included more information to benefit the interested users. We can surely expect more AI-related announcements later in the day at Google I/O 2018.

It’s also worth noting that Microsoft has also made a number of AI-focused announcements at its ongoing Build 2018 developer conference.
